We hope you and your family are well throughout this confusing situation. For Cortes Catering, your health and well-being have always been our main priority.
While many companies in the food industry are applying new corrective protocols during the COVID-19 situation, we are pleased to announce that since the 2009 H1N1 pandemic, we have already implemented our protective safe serve and food safety practices and will continue to do so in the future.
Cortes Catering has improved all food safety standards through constant staff training ServSafe certifications meeting with all FDA and COVID-19 food safety regulations.
Our food purchasing, preparation, and delivery Protocol:
- Hand-selecting all of our meats and vegetables has always been a part of who we are, and purchasing all other ingredients through local markets means, we can reject any ingredient in case of unsatisfactory quality and standards.
- We strictly use only vehicles from our company, starting with the purchase of ingredients to the delivery of the finished product in our sterilized vehicles.
*WE DO NOT HIRE THIRD PARTY FOOD DELIVERY COMPANIES. This means we do not lose sight of your food order from the moment it leaves our kitchen until it arrives at your door.
- Outside vendors and non-employees are completely restricted from entering our facilities.
We are also communicating to all of our customers that we are ready to start servicing larger gatherings as soon as authorities and clients feel it is completely safe to do so.
Please know that we are still operating, offering partially and fully cooked menu items through delivery or pick up services.
We are also offering daily and 3-day meal plan menus based on any dietary restrictions for as many as 2 people and more throughout the Chicago area.
